Just got home from a remarkable Ten Days Mission trip, and for me, I can summarize my experiences from it in “3G”: Grace. Gratitude. Glory.
All by God’s grace. Our wins came not primarily because of our abilities, besides, most of the breakthroughs and the divine appointments we had did not happen because of our plans, they became possible all because of the grace and power of our God. From the whole season of preparing, raising supports, during and after the trip,
God’s grace indeed enabled us to do the things we can’t do on our own.
Grateful for the privilege, for being in a passionate and very hardworking team, for the people we met, for the students we engaged that will one day know and accept Jesus as their only Lord and Savior and will one day be a servant leader of God, for all the experiences and learning. We will be forever grateful for what God has done and will continue to do in our midst.
I can’t contain the gratitude in my heart every single day of our stay there. It is really worth the effort, time, energy and sleepless nights.
It’s all worth it because we are investing in a mission that has an eternal impact for today and for eternity.
At the end of the day, we continue to remind ourselves that everything we did, we did it all for God’s glory. Everything.
God is the ultimate reason that’s why we do missions.
So whatever success we have, we offer it all to Him. That’s our passion and joy, for He alone deserves all the glory and honor forever and ever.
I hope I can blog and explain it more better soon. (haha) But for now, it’s time to rest.
Good night everyone. 🙂
